Job Description:

Direct Response Copywriter

Remote | Salary: $2000 - $2,500 | Schedule: 4PM - 1AM Beirut Time

Company Overview

We're a team of 130+ passionate leaders and creatives who have worked diligently to become one of the largest and most robust Growth Marketing Agencies in the world. We specialize in local lead generation, e-commerce, and information marketing — serving clients from auto and local shop owners to online consumer brands and coaches/course creators. Our approach goes beyond bold and disruptive strategies: we invest in our team through extensive training, continuous support, and a culture where finding fulfillment in your career matters as much as excelling in it.

Mission

As an Info Direct Response Copywriter, you'll drive the creative strategy within your client pod — writing persuasive ad copy, email sequences, and other long-form assets for clients spending $100k–$1M+ monthly on ads. Your primary goal is to understand what makes campaigns successful, mine the data for insights, and generate fresh creative concepts grounded in performance metrics. You'll work closely with a strategist, media buyer, and project manager to develop and optimize high-converting ad copy. This role requires a proactive mindset: you lead the creative strategy process, ensuring every campaign is built on solid data and clear creative reasoning — not just executing what you're told.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will vary, offering opportunities to dive deep into creative strategy, copywriting, and performance analysis, while continuously growing and refining your skills.

  • Own the creative strategy for client campaigns, including writing ad scripts, body copy, hooks, and email copy.
  • Lead weekly creative strategy calls with your pod, coming prepared with analysis, concepts, and reasoning for what to test next.
  • Analyze creative performance data (creative trackers, attribution platforms, reporting tools) daily and use it to inform decisions about what to test next.
  • Develop fresh, high-converting concepts and assets based on performance insights and messaging foundations (avatar research, messaging bibles, swipe files).
  • Write email copy within frameworks established by a Senior Copywriter — automation sequences, promotional campaigns, nurture flows — understanding each sequence's purpose.
  • Keep track of what's winning and losing across your clients and adapt your creative approach accordingly.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of each client's goals and develop ad concepts and emails that directly support those objectives.
  • Ensure all creative is grounded in the messaging foundations created by the Senior Copywriter, rather than improvised from scratch.
  • Provide direction and feedback to designers and editors, ensuring visuals and copy work cohesively to drive results.
  • Fill out creative briefs with strategic reasoning (angle, awareness level, lead type, hypothesis) and keep creative trackers updated before submitting batches.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of direct response copywriting experience; info/coaching space preferred.
  • Deep understanding of awareness levels, belief shifts, and persuasion principles — you know why messaging works, not just what to write.
  • Experience writing ad copy across formats: video scripts, static copy, body copy, hooks, headlines.
  • Proven ability to analyze creative performance and iterate based on data — not just "try something different," but "here's what's working and what to test next."
  • Strong experience with email copywriting within defined frameworks, including promotional campaigns, nurture flows, and automation sequences.
  • Comfortable with performance data — creative trackers, attribution platforms, and reporting tools are part of your daily workflow, not something you avoid.
  • In-depth understanding of avatar psychology and audience segmentation, ensuring messaging speaks directly to the target audience.
  • Ability to take loose direction and return with developed concepts backed by clear reasoning.
  • Experience working within structured systems and with cross-functional teams — strategists, media buyers, designers, and editors.
  • Comfortable pushing back when briefs are unclear or strategy doesn't make sense; proactive communicator who over-communicates on status and pipeline rather than letting things slip.
